LEGO 6879 Blizzard Baron is part of the Ice Planet 2002 LEGO Theme which was a set that ran for a couple of years from 1993. It’s one of those LEGO space themes that used the transparent neaon pices as a central part of their construction. In this video I build and review this cool 1990s LEGO set. LEGO 6898 Ice-Sat V is from 1993 and is one of the few sets in the Ice planet 2002 theme from the 90’s. This LEGO theme only ran from 1993 to 1994 and had less than ten sets in that period. One promotinal set was released in Japan in 1996 and again in 1999 in this theme. The 6898 LEGO set is one of the last set I remember getting that was science fiction inspired. However, I did get more space LEGO later on, but that was based in real world space exploration.
