LEGO Haul no. 22 – City Materials

LEGO Haul no. 22 – City Materials! It’s been a while since I had a good LEGO haul. In this video I’ll be taking a look at some of my recent LEGO purchases which I’ll be using for my LEGO city. It’s very important to have enough materials to build your LEGO city. Today’s LEGO haul is all about stocking up on good city materials! Maybe you can get some ideas for your own LEGO city!?

Thank you for watching!

  1. Great haul Jacob!
A lot of different parts in the cups! Interesting to see where you are going to use them. First will probebly be the water 😉
    Enjoy!

    1. You are 10.000% right 😀 I’ve already tiled the rest of the water and I think it looks really great! I’m looking very much forward to continuing work on my dock now 🙂 Do you have docks in you LEGO city?

  2. Hey BB

I’m glad you found the pieces that you needed to complete your vintage sets. It’s a relief when something you own and love can be remade anew!

Loving the Batwing. I think I agree, he’s probably the coolest superhero. We have a few sets from the Lego Batman Movie, including the ultimate Batmobile. All are currently languishing in our backlog 😕.. we even managed to snag the GWP that game with the recent UCS 1989 Batmobile. A friend gave it to us! 👍

As you’ll know, I don’t make MOCs, but I’m very much looking forward to seeing how you utilise your PAB wall haul?

Thanks for another fun video – loved your editing 👍👍❤️❤️

    1. Thanks RH! Yeah, I’m trying to explore editing a bit. There’s a lot to be done in that regard to make it more watchable. However, it does take a lot of time and going back and forth. But I’m really glad you noticed 🙂

The 1989 Batmobile is HIGH on my wishlist. I’m really really really really really hoping for some kind of sale on that one at some point. Not very likely though. Pretty sure I haven’t seen it outside the official LEGO stores yet!?

  3. Hi Jakob,
As usual lots of wacky pieces in strange colours. I always thing there are lots of ‘iinteresting’ pieces but one is never quite sure what to do with them.
Some of those types of bricks have been around in the wall for quite a while. I bought quite a few at New Year and thought those tiles would be useful for interesting coloured floors or for tiling separation layers in modulars.
It’s annoying when you want a specific type of piece, buy it on Bricklink then find them on the PAB wall. But on the other hand a PAB cup is a lot of bricks if they’re not the ones you don’t actually want 🙂
Do they still have those 1x6x5 transparent panels? I picked up a few last time.
I’m going to the London store on Sunday so I think I’ll see if they have any more of those masonry bricks, and of course some more tiles….
    regards
    Max

    1. Yeah, the PAB cups are really a gamble at times. Personally, I have bought many-many-many brick that I don’t know what to do with right away just because they are cheap. I’ve bought a lot of used/random lots over the last two years. It means that I have a great variety in my collection but rarely have enough depth to do any serious building. The depth I have comes from the PAB wall mainly. I’ve been lucky that folks have helped buy stuff when I wasn’t able to go to the store! I hope you find something great in London 🙂 I believe there are more than one LEGO store there!??!?!

  4. Amazing haul Jakob! Good to use these for building! Great to have you as a positive motivation, I hope to come back to YouTube in mid year this year, REALLY tempted to express my creative thinking and help others! I always get positive motivation from you! I’m getting ready for this test mid year, it’s really important, once in a life time, so I gotta try hard and am fully focused on it. I believe and know my creative thinking is underrated and not seen so you provide me motivation and hope about coming back!
I’m background from Kazakhstan, just thought I’d let you know!
Also, are you fully Danish or partially German?
