LEGO City Update! In this video I show you how I have updated my LEGO city with another LEGO restaurant. I also show you how to build a storefront for your LEGO city. This LEGO city update is the second LEGO city update this year, and I hope to make many many more. Please enjoy this LEGO city update and let me know what you think on my website (link below).
Thank you for watching!
How about a jeweler’s shop?

Not a bad idea at all. I’d like to get away from making too many restaurants in my city. There’s always a lot of those! I’m thinking about something like a taxi station or something. A newspaper!?

Hey Hey Jakob
Itโs quite amazing how many Lego cities have pizzerias. It seems thereโs one on every street corner, a bit like Starbucks!I thought the pizza slice sign was really good. I liked the toppings you added. Really eye catching! Iโm not convinced about the decoration at the top of the store. I thought it was a bit messy. But, what do I know?
As for the store next door, how about a fish restaurant or a taverna like you suggested. I think the blue and white is reminiscent of those colours one can see at a seaside fish eatery?
Such a fun update. Really very good ๐

Thanks! I see what you mean about the top fence being a bit messy. Maybe use the chalices all the way!? Or lift the fence pieces a plate!? The seafood idea is good, but I think I’d like it to be a non-food shop. With all the posh-ness it has, maybe a fine clothes store??

Well, youโre right. Too many places to eat and not enough places to peruse whilst promenading. I think a Jewry shop is a fine idea and, quite a good addition as it will allow the odd villain or three to attempt a heist! The Bakersville Police Department need more to do than just eat donuts!

Ahh yes, the ongoing crime wave of any LEGO city! Bakersville has been blessed with very few villains who actually do something villainous ๐ Maybe that’ll change once there’s a jewellery store! ๐

The Pizza storefront is simple but extremely effective, I think. The pizza slice is something I would personally have probably spent about a week on as I do tend to fuss over details but you seem to have cracked that one instantly! I like Robin’s suggestion of some kind of seafood restaurant. Have you thought of a sushi bar? They seem rather popular. It could be run by some Ninjago minifigs of choice. Or do you already have a sushi shop I have forgotten about? Great to see a city update again. I do like them. Next time, perhaps we will see more of Bakersville and what the minifig characters have been getting up to recently? ๐๐

Yeah, I just decided to punch out a sign and be satisfied with it as is. I can always come back to it and change it. It could definitely be better. I like the seafood restaurant, but I’m half-thinking that I should try to move away from food-inspired stores. There’s sooo many already. Surely, the minifigs need other stuff ๐ Clothes, Taxi-cabs etc. ๐ Cps idea with a jewelry store may not be too bad. A news agent og newspaper may be a cool idea too I think!

Hi Don Pedro! Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I think it’s a great idea and I’ll be sure to keep it in mind. Maybe a 3D sign shaped like an airplane would fit well!? Thanks a lot ๐

Hi Jacob. I like the look of the new pizza place. But I’m just wondering if that pizza slice looks a bit mean. Maybe you should do a quarter pizza using a 4×4 quarter circle or a whole pizza using a 4×4 circle or if you really want to go large a 6×6 circle.
Unless it’s a vegetarian / diet pizza joint? ๐

Hi! Thanks for the suggestion – I like it ๐ However, I’m pretty sure I don’t have any of the suggested pieces in yellow. Maybe in light tan, but I prefer the yellow as it makes it stand out a little more. I like the idea of the quarter pizza though! If I find a quater circle in yellow I may change it up! Thanks a lot for the suggestion ๐

very cool. you can still add the pizza theme tile. you can add it to the lego built pizza slice. put on the brown part of the built slice. would add more detail.

Cool. Interesting technique on how you added in the new store in your city. I was think maybe you can still use the pizza theme title by putting it on the brown piece that you put on the lego built pizza slice. may add more detail.

I like the pizza place I think there should be a recycling center or a generator room or a museum or something like that

was think more like putting that pizza title back on the moc to give the sign more depth but creating the sign with letters sounds really cool too. always fun to see what you do in your lego city. hoping to post more on here like my city images. will see.
