LEGO 6510 Mud Runner Review. The LEGO 6510 Mud Runner is a LEGO race car from 1991. It has 25 parts and one LEGO minifig. It’s one of many LEGO race cars that’s been launched by LEGO over the years. However, this one is great because of the great print and the interesting use of LEGO pieces. In this video I give you my review of this LEGO set!

Brick Bakery 
A simple build with minimal parts that still looks great today – although I might put it into the ‘suped’ up Go-kart category myself. Have to say, mini-Jakob makes the thing look even cooler although the previous driver is not too happy and rather concerned about the state of your driving (which obviously hasn’t improved…) 😁🚗

Ha ha ha ha, his driving skills are superb – no doubt about it! 😀 I find that these older race cars are fun and very play-friendly. This one is particularly cool because of the innovative use of pieces! When I see how well the molded piece fits together with the horse-bar-thing, I realize how well LEGO elements have been thought out – it’s brilliant!

I do like these very simple vehicles. I recall playing with my son back in the mid 1980’s with similar builds. And, even the more detailed ambulances and police vehicles too!
You often find the odd polybag set that contains a small set such as this, but they are too few and far between. I personally think Lego would do well to introduced a pocket money range. You occasionally see them in foil bags attached to the Lego magazines. But, a bigger selection in Lego stores and toy shops would be great!

I tend to agree. However, I was in a supermarket yesterday and for some reason they had five or six different polybags (also some of the newer ones). I browsed through them, and I’ve got to admit that there was only one I might consider getting. And they were even at a reduced price! ………. I’m not completely sure where I wanted to go with that…. sorry 😀 Anyhow, more pocket-money priced sets would be great! 😀

Yeah, Robin, a pocket money range would be a good idea – maybe around the £5 mark or so. Today, you usually have to fork out at least £8.99 for a basic set. When I was 9, I remember picking up a small dumber truck as a birthday present for a friend for just 70p!!

Lego is a well made toy. It’s great quality. But, is becoming pricey. The new ISS set is £65, why? I’d really love to see a range of kid priced toys. If Lego can give employees 50% off retail price all day, every day, surely they don’t need to charge £8.99 for a small set. Do they?

Do they give their employees 50% discount? I thought it was just 30!? But, I’m not a LEGO employee so I wouldn’t know 😀 Anyhow, I agree: LEGO could be cheaper and seeing something in pocket-money range would be great!
