LEGO Pirates Display by Brian Vestergaard and Michael Werenberg – Interview

LEGO Pirates Display by Brian Vestergaard and Michael Werenberg is a beautiful custom LEGO display with loads of LEGO pirates, LEGO pirate ships and LEGO forts. It’s a great homage to the classic LEGO pirate theme from the late 1980s and early 1990s. In this video I interview Brian and Michael about they huge custom LEGO display and talk to them about the project in general. Get your cutlass and your eyepatch you landlubber – it’s a pirates life in LEGO!

Thank you for watching!

  1. It’s good to see Brian and Michael still going strong from their 1980’s success with “Matchstalk men and matchstalk cats and dogs”, a wonderful song about L S Lowry.

These chaps have created heaven in Lego form. Superb!

Well done BB for this great interview! 👍👍

    1. Wauw! That’s a deep cut 😀 I’ve never heard about that band before. Sounds like some kind of folkish/Simon & Garfunkle but in the british John Cleese-esque version!? But I agree, this is indeed a GREAT display! They’ve done SO well 🙂

    1. I created a blog on wordpress for this. I imagine you could do the same. PArticularly if you make frequent updates. Otherwise, a more static website may be the way to go 🙂

      1. Agreed! There are some pieces that’ll run you a pretty penny. But, you can actually make custom sails as well I’ve seen!! 😀
